BURNED

My book burned is about a girl named patten, she is from a strick morman family, doesn't feel like she belongs in her own life. She has been having sexual thoughts and dreams about a boy at her school named Justin. She goes to her family and her church to talk about it but they all ignor her. She starts to doubt her religion. She thinks that if god didn't want her to think about boys like that he wouldn't make her. Then she thinks that the people in her family are making up all the say about "in the eyes of god". She comes from a large family with alot of issues. Her mothers place in the family is only to make children and cook(which patten disagrees with) She has a large number of siblings and one of her odler brothers died at war and one turned out to be homosexual which angered her father. Her father became an alcohalic and started beating pattens mother. He always drank johnie W.B wiskey. One day she went out to the feild to practice shooting and she ran in too a group of boys and a girl from he class. One of the boys, Derek she began to get really close with. After he drove her home on his bike she began to fall for him indstead of justin. He found her in the school the next and told her he liked her. They began to get close and she started to give up her mormon ways to be with him. She would lie about where she was and then sneak out to parties and drink and act sexualy inapproiprit with Derek and she began to think she would have sex with him. After that her father found out and came to the feild one day and snapped. the next day Derek broke up with patten because her dad threatened him. Patten was so mad. The next day she got in a huge fight with her mom and broke a school window. Then Derek got a new girlfriend and Patten was more mad. She ended up getting in a fight with the girl and broke her nose. Her family and her preist (after a few visits) were getting worried and Pattens mom was pregnet. As the stress started to build pattens dad hit her for the first time. Then they decided since added stress would kill the baby they would send patten to the farm where her dad grew up for the summer and that is where i left off.
